Description

Proven and accepted herd management technique. No guessing and no
questions. 100% accuracy between 30 and 45 days depending on animal
type. The superior instrument in both accuracy and ease of use according
to leading university studies. Detects pregnancy in many small and
medium size mammals by means of A-Mode Ultrasonic echoes.
Uses high frequency
sound waves to detect amniotic fluid, producing a loud continuous tone
if fluid is present. When animal is not pregnant, produces an
intermittent recurring tone. Intermittent tone also indicates that good
contact is made.
Automatically turns off when battery needs
recharging, protecting against erroneous readings due to insufficient
power. Microprocessor-based, software controlled high reliability
electronics, enclosed in an all-metal case. All-metal construction
guarantees against interference by radio waves. Constructed of heavy
gauge aluminum for ruggedness and ease of cleaning, yet lightweight and
small enough to slip in pocket. Self-contained, rechargeable nickel
metal hydride battery pack with approximately 2-4 years battery pack life.
Environmentally friendly battery. Approximately 8 hours operating time on full
