Description
Boluses are recommended for oral administration in beef and dairy calves
for the control and treatment of bacterial enteritis (cattle scours)
caused by Salmonella typhimurium and E. coli (colibacillosis), and
bacterial pneumonia (shipping fever complex, pasteurellosis) caused by
Pasteurella multocida.
Contain 500 mg oxytetracycline HCl.
Dosage: Control - 1/2 bolus per 100 lbs body weight every 12 hours, for
up to 4 days; Treatment - 1 bolus per 100 lbs body weight every 12
hours, for up to 4 days. Continue until the animal returns to normal and
for 24-48 hours after symptoms have subsided, not exceeding 4 days.
Not for use in lactating dairy cattle or veal calves. No slaughter withdrawal when used at recommended levels.
Yellow color.
